The Community provides assistance to purchase home furnishings and replace doors and windows (25/02/2010)

The Minister of Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marín, today introduced the Plan furnished, for the purchase of household furnishings, and the Renewal Plan windows and doors, featuring two measures together with 1.2 million euros with which the regional government helps boost these productive sectors by encouraging consumption.

"These two new plans to improve the quality of life of citizens and help to stimulate the retail and SMEs in the productive sectors involved with that has been negotiated so far," said Marin, adding that "our estimates suggest that 2,000 operations will benefit from buying FURNISHED Plan to buy home furnishings, and the Renewal Plan will replace about 2,000 other windows and doors. "

FURNISHED Plan is a measure of consumer incentives contained in the conclusions of the 'entrepreneurial drive table: furniture industry and wood', 2009, coordinated by the Institute of Development and the Directorate General of Industry, Energy and Mines.

Aid of this Plan will range between 150 and 1,000 euros depending on expenditure and if the furniture has acquired brand recognized product quality.

You can buy sofas, chairs and other seating, tables and dining room furniture, bedroom furniture and occasional furniture.

The aid will be applied directly by the participating establishments with the corresponding discount on the final invoice with VAT, and apply on purchases whose total value reaches or exceeds $ 1,000 and not more than 4,000.

The bonus will be 25 percent if the furniture have quality brand, and 15 percent if you do not have this distinction.

You can only join this initiative those businesses that have the status of SMEs, "with the clear aim to support our retail," said Marin.

The Renewal Plan windows and doors have the same social and economic benefits that the Plan FURNISHED and also contributes to savings and energy efficiency in homes, to prevent loss of heat and cold.

These grants are able to change those type balcony windows and doors that separate the house from outside, and includes both the cost of material and installation.

The door and window frames must be steel, PVC or wood and to ensure energy saving and efficiency in line with the standards set in the Technical Building Code.

The total amount of the specific aid for the renewal of windows and doors up to 25 per cent of the investment (VAT invoice); in any case, 1,500 euros maximum grant per household.

The discount will apply directly to SMEs located.

Retailers and installers accession plans

SMEs wishing to join any of the plans must sign the letter campaign for accession to the Partnership Agreement and the purchase price deducted from the aid received by the beneficiary, then justifying the Agency Energy Management Murcia (Argema).

The management of aid will be made through the program telematically that Argema offers facilities on its website www.argem.es .

In addition, the establishment must be necessarily considered small and medium enterprises.

Window Renewal Plan is part of the Plan of Action Saving Strategy and Efficiency in Spain 2004-2012.

The Autonomous Community of Murcia Region signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDEA) under which commissioned the management Argema Renewal Plan, as it does with the appliances.
