With the blessing ceremony, which will be held in the Assembly Room of City Hall on Saturday, December 5, at 12:30 noon we will begin the program of events for the festivity of Yecla 2009 in honor of Virgen del Castillo, declared of National Tourist Interest.
Under existing ordinances, the Chairman of Stewards Association, José Antonio Hernández, request permission to the first municipal authority to hold the ceremonies of the festivity of the Virgen del Castillo.
Yecla Mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito Rodriguez, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, will read at a resolution of the Mayor in accordance with the said Ordinance, granted permission to hold from this day until December 20 Fiestas de la Virgen.
Later proceed to hoist the flag and start from the Santuario del Castillo fifteen shooting rockets that will be answered by so many from the balcony of the Town Hall, while they produce the ringing of campaigns in the city.
