The Department of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, launched the Cultural Exchange Programme 2009.
. The activity aimed at young people between 12 and 16 and their families, is to host and be hosted for a weekend at the home of another young participants of different nationalities, sharing their traditions, customs, celebrations and preparing a photo story coexistence.
The main objective is to enrich the personal experience of young people in relation to the coexistence of different cultures in our city, through contact with a positive family environments.
It is therefore a great opportunity to discover new cultures without leaving Yecla.
Gift to every young participant with a digital camera, and the end of the activity will be given away two Nintendo Wii consoles.
Interested families should go to the Municipal Social Services Center, C / San José, 8, 1 st floor, Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 pm, or afternoons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 19: 30 to 20:30.
The deadline for entries is March 5.
