Since January 2009, Yecla Furniture Fair, the oldest fair in the furniture sector in Spain, is part of the Spanish Trade Fairs Association (AFE), a private organization, declared of public utility, whose scope is part Spanish territory, for representation, coordination, advocacy and promotion of trade fairs of its members.
It was established on May 14, 1964 and up 58 partners of which 50 are fair organizers and 8 staff members.
Along with Yecla Furniture Fair, part of AFE fairs as Fira Barcelona, IFEMA (Feria de Madrid), Institución Ferial de Tenerife, Feria Valencia Feria de Zaragoza and many more national fairs.
In addition to representation in national and international forums, the main activities of the AFE are editing the Annual Calendar of Festivals, the publication of statistics of trade fairs, developing a directory of members, the organization of a Congress Spanish fairs, preparation of courses, seminars, training, studies of sectoral reports, etc.
and that from now on will include the participation of Yecla Furniture Fair.
