The mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito appears as the third most influential personality in the plateau region (after the President of the Community and the Bishop of the diocese) in the Social Barometer of the Region in 2008 that was presented yesterday Murcia Chamber of Commerce by the Senior Club and the consulting firm CSA
Among the most influential people of the region displayed Ramon Luis Valcarcel, Miguel Angel House and Pilar Barreiro.
The states with the highest consideration among respondents appear Murcia Strong Group, Polaris Word and CajaMurcia.
As for the concerns of the respondents, unemployment displaces water as the first regional problem.
Other issues such as immigration, access to housing and its price, and insecurity in the streets are among the main concerns of Murcia.
