Given the statements of the Municipal Socialist Group spokesperson on the project for upgrading and landscaping of public school outside San José de Calasanz, Councillor of Education, Maria del Carmen Frese Andrew wants to make the following considerations:

Freschi Antonio Colomer is part of the team AFTT company, as a landscaper.

This Sr. is Member of the Spanish Association of Landscape, which is the only association recognized by the European Foundation for Landscape Architect.

With the latest amendments to the law of contracts, Yecla City Council may award a contract directly to a total of 18,000 euros.

The bid by AFTT is 11,206 euros (plus VAT) and includes the drafting of the project and the technical direction of the work.

These costs, plus the development of project implementation, including preliminary studies conducted, visa charges, reprografita, field trips, etc..

This is not a project to put three or four trees, as the Socialist spokesman said, but the basic design and implementation of air conditioning and landscaping of public school outside San José de Calasanz. This project also includes performances in gardening (incidentally provides nearly forty trees of four different species, adapted to the climate of Yecla) study of the earthworks, civil works facilities (sewage, irrigation and hydrant network), furnishings and fittings in the area.

We therefore consider that the amount of the development of this project, as we have consulted experts in the field, is low on current market prices and that we have managed to develop a project consistent with the climate and terrain where it is located downtown, as to ensure its permanence.
