Marcos Ortuño, mayor of Yecla, has filed Monday in Madrid to Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel María Borrego, the latest news on the promotion of Yecla Wine Route.

"The consolidation of Yecla Wine Route is a priority for the city and the region, and we help strengthen the image of Murcia as a destination for wine tourism," said Ortuño.

The aim of the Route is strengthening the values ​​of the locality and seasonally adjusted visits, sparking economic activity in the area and attracting wine tourism so visitors have the opportunity to experience the art of wine and all processes.

Currently a total of 34 companies, among which are restaurants, bars, shops and warehouses, part of the Association of Yecla Wine Route.
