The general strike was eventually seconded by 15.46% of the workers of the City of Yecla (14/11/2012)

The general strike was supported by 15.46% of the workers of the City of Yecla, according to data provided by the municipal department staff, after checking the operation of all municipal services.

This is a slightly higher participation rate that occurred in the general strike on 29 March, following the trend that is occurring nationally.

The day is proceeding normally.

Just have to mention that tonight there has been no garbage collection, if done while the street cleaning service.

Municipal public markets and positions of the two street markets are normally mounted and opened to the public, as well as municipal sports centers.

All other municipal services are functioning, fulfilling the agreed minimum services decree with union representatives.

Local police, working in coordination with other security forces and established in Yecla, to ensure the free exercise of their rights of all citizens, both those workers who choose not to strike and those who have joined a general strike.
