Rafael Palau Ortuño, a former mayor of Yecla and counsel of the Bar Association of Murcia.

Among his accomplishments include the completion of the Hospital "Virgen del Castillo", the creation of the Commissariat of National Police and the Home of the Pensioner, expansion of the furniture fair construction of the water network and sewage system for the hamlet of Raspay and the Shrine of the Castle, the construction of the Public School "Giner", he supported the creation of the Friends of Music and the beginning of the procedure for building the new Palace of Justice.

In his career is remarkable that served as Counsel Association, advising workers Yecla, Jumilla, Fortuna and Abanilla and was assigned the post of Legal Advisor to the National Employment Institute in Murcia, where he worked until he retired civil servant in defending the interests of the administration.

It was over twenty years professor of Secondary School Yecla, being the first teachers who taught the Constitutional Law of COU students

He was a member of the Delegation of the Bar Association of Yecla, and collaborated in the study and management of many requirements set out above to the administrative authorities to improve the delivery of the administration of justice in Yecla.
