Important support for prevention programs and counseling to women victims of gender violence.

15 students receive training in providing care for dependents, opening up new job opportunities

The Ministry of the Presidency has approved a grant of 50,000 euros for service to women victims of violence, and developed programs for prevention and legal, social and psychological, which are performed in the CAVI Yecla.

This grant is a boon for the operation of the Specialty Care Center for women victims of violence in our city, under the Municipal Centre of Social Services.

Currently, Yecla CAVI has 285 open cases, of which 67 were incorporated in 2010.

It has a psychologist, a social worker and a lawyer, and Mobile Telecare service for women with protective orders.

Also the Education, Training and Employment has subsidized formative action Course Assistant Services Dependents, totaling than 25,200 euros.

This activity provides training for 15 students, for four months, divided into 240 hours teaching and practices, and creates new job opportunities for the future of the participating students.
