New roads Ordinance (27/04/2011)

This law regulates these pathways in vehicles should not move more than 16 tons, the variation of the path or using machinery.

The Full Council held on 7 March, approved the new ordinance regulating rural roads in the municipality of Yecla.

Its entry into force is planned for late May, after formalizing the necessary legal formalities.

It also regulates the authorization for any action on them, sets the minimum distance between the road and plantings, fences and buildings nearby, and the regulation of violations and the amount of sanctions.

Provides that public roads should be used for free, peaceful and safe movement of both people and animals and vehicles, so you can not prevent the free passage or movement.

Among other situations, the ordinance prohibits these roads moving vehicles over 16 tonnes, the direct drag objects and machinery, the invasion of the roads with machines, or the variation or deviation from the path of rural roads.

In the case of farm fencing works adjacent to public roads will require a report prior to the license application, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture.

Penalties for violating this law can range from 60 euros, in the case of minor infringements, up to 3,000 euros for those very serious.
