Students-employment workshop workers have already started providing support services and assistance at home (25/02/2011)

Since late 2010, the City of Yecla protects the employment workshop called "Yecla Built."

This is a new initiative in our city, which combines theoretical training sessions and working time practices, targeting a total of 15 students, workers aged between 25 and 55 years of age.

Employment Workshop is directed by M ª Dolores Arques and also participate in it a monitor and two administrative assistants.

"Yecla incorporates" focuses its objectives in education and job training for students, workers and home care aides.

The training contract and service provision is a 40-hour week and a salary of 960 euros per month (corresponding to 150% of minimum wage).

The theoretical training takes place Monday through Friday, at the Centre for Local Development, located in the Industrial Urbayecla II, and since last February 14 tally with the actual tasks of home care, under the coordination and supervision of auxiliary currently provided by the municipal personal care and home help.
