After the success of last year's edition, the second edition of the Best Competition Spanish Wine for Asia has been even more successful with a greater participation of all Spanish wine regions and appellations of origin.
The main objective of this event is to value Spanish wines and their suitability to the tastes and reality of the Asian market as well as increasing popularity and greater knowledge of our wines in the Far East, thereby increasing the portfolio of importers and consumers.
All Assessors are Asian, thus establishing reliable criteria of consumer tastes, and that 60% are professionals in the wine industry, 35% fans and press the rest doing a blind tasting where packaging preserves the anonymity of the bottles to contest the assessment based wines in total impartiality.
The competition was held in Hong Kong from 16 to 18 October.
Trapia 2007 Silver Medal
Trapia 2007 has obtained the Silver Medal, an award that was achieved in the first edition of this contest Trapia 2006, which has been a recognition of the quality of the wines of Bodegas La Purisima and an increase in interest in Asian markets by our wines.
