The Local Group of the PSOE in Yecla made on Sunday October 3, the process of choosing candidates for the presidency of the Autonomous Community of Murcia with the active participation of its members in a relaxed and festive day where the dominant note was the remarkable participation of the militant socialist who came to vote in the House of the People of Yecla.
71% of the militants census and eligible to vote, three points higher than the regional average, had the opportunity to exercise their vote and decide freely who will be the candidate to represent the initials of PSRM-PSOE.
After counting of the votes cast, the results at the local level resulted in at least 57.8% of the votes cast for Jesus Navarro, and 41'1% in favor of Begoña García Retegui.
The PSOE de Yecla wishes to express its satisfaction with the development of votes that have passed as normal, the large influx of militants yeclanos that have understood the importance of this internal process and congratulate Jesus Navarro for being the most voted in Yecla and Begoña García Retegui to be the candidate chosen by the majority of socialist activists in the region of Murcia to represent an alternative government program and able to challenge the apathy of the Partido Popular.
The PSOE de Yecla work for the nomination of Begoña García received the majority support of the yeclanos after forgetting and neglect that our city has suffered from successive governments and the Popular Party Valcárcel.
