Eduardo Garzón presents his book in Yecla where he dismantles the economic myths on the right (24/01/2018)

"Dismantling the economic myths of the Spanish right: a guide so that they do not give it to you with cheese" is the last book by economist Eduardo Garzón, brother of the federal coordinator of Izquierda Unida, Alberto Garzón.

Economist of the Scientific Council of ATTAC Spain, PhD in Economics and collaborator in programs such as La Sexta Noche, Eduardo Garzón is one of the most prestigious economists on the left.

And he will be in Yecla this Friday, January 26, to present his book at the Casa de Cultura, at 8:00 p.m.

This is a book for those who see economics as a very technical science, replete with seemingly complex numbers and indicators that only experts understand.

It is because it shows that you do not need to have an academic background to understand the essence of economic phenomena.

They are much simpler than they seem.

The only thing that needs to be done to understand them is to assimilate that politics and economics are two sides of the same coin, that the current economic situation benefits some and harms others and that the former will try by all means to keep it that way.

This is also a book for those progressives who, when they ask for more social justice through a greater redistribution of income and wealth, are tired of hearing: "I hope, but you can not."

And not knowing what to answer.

Because Eduardo Garzón challenges this response with arguments, provides tools to combat it and explains that the best way to understand the economy, to put it at the service of the social majority, is to get rid of the lies that the economic right constantly transmits to us through almost all pores of the system.

Do not miss the presentation!
