The PSOE again questions the large spills of mud in the fields after a new case in the area of Casa Igarza (14/03/2017)

Socialists again echo many complaints from neighbors who have to withstand very strong odors in certain areas of Yecla in the face of uncontrolled mudslides, and call for speed after a year of delay of the Municipal Government to conclude the Ordinance of Spills

In the face of the strong odors caused by mudslides in the area of Casa Igarza, the Socialist Municipal Group has asked the Municipal Government to address once and for all the problem of fertilizer and sludge discharges in different parts of our city. That "we are going to the third summer that we are calling for initiatives for sustainability between this agricultural activity and its consequences on odors, public health and insect proliferation."

The Socialists insist, almost one year behind the previous instance that this group carried out the government, to speed up the processing of an ordinance to be able to regulate the use of this organic waste, including possible sanctions to find the balance between the interest Agricultural, environmental and public health protection of citizens.

The socialist spokesperson, Asun Molina, points out that "the recent landfill in the Igarza Park has been made less than 100 meters from some single-family houses and, in other cases, less than 500 meters, failing to comply with what the City Council recommends, And it is necessary to find the definitive solution to this situation which, probably, will be repeated in the next weeks by more zones ".

The government also reacts late with the lighting of Las Pozas

Socialist councilor Pepe Martinez has once again urged the municipal government to put solutions to the problem with lighting the fields of the Juan Palao sports complex, commonly known as Las Pozas.

The request was made just after a football match of Child A in Field 3 had to be suspended due to lack of lighting.

This problem has already been denounced by many teams and the Socialist Group, already made a requirement dated November 17 denouncing these facts and, apparently, have not been corrected correctly, so they beg the government team not to delay the And correct the error.
