Baños proposes Yecla more support to the entrepreneurial sector, water transfer, a public ITV (09/03/2017)

On the question of the Plan of Urbanism, Martinez Baños stressed "the importance of developing a rational and sustainable urbanism that delimits the residential land and that bet for a compact city, introducing with harmony and functionality the industrial growth."

Decrease in regional investment in the entrepreneurial sector

The PSOE bets on an ITV in Yecla public management

Alfonso Martinez Baños supports the necessary installation of a Technical Vehicle Inspection Center (ITV) in Yecla, and has filed a motion in the Regional Assembly requesting that the eight ITV centers in the Region, plus the ten Expected to be put into operation, be managed directly through a public company dependent on the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment.

"We are committed to a transparent management in which economic interests do not prevail and the total independence of the Vehicle Inspection System is guaranteed," he said.

In addition, the management model proposed by the Socialists guarantees the creation of quality employment, the prevalence of public service and a lower cost for citizens, as explained Martínez.

He added that this is a very profitable service, so it would not generate a deficit to the public coffers.

"According to official data from the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, they are reviewed every year to almost 800,000 vehicles, with revenues exceeding 35 million euros."

Defense of water for the Altiplano

Alfonso Martínez Baños, who last Sunday participated in the Furniture Fair at the II Agricultural Conference of the Altiplano organized by COAG, has claimed the work being done by his colleague Yolanda Fernandez in the negotiations for the final document of the future Regional Pact of the Water, where the socialists influence the provision of water to the region of the Altiplano.

Martínez Baños has assured that "a Region that requests territorial solidarity to the rest of Communities is obliged to execute the solidarity between regions within its own territory and not to leave to the Altiplano shortage".

5 years of delays with Rajoy on the highway and 15 years of PGOU

The secretary general of the PSE of Yecla, Juan Jimenez, and the spokesman of the Municipal Socialist Group, Asun Molina, took the opportunity to claim greater speed in two of the most important needs for Yecla.
