| The Yecla Post Office located at 24 Arcipreste Esteban Diaz Street already admits the payment of municipal bills at their premises | The Yecla post office can now accept the payment of municipal bills after signing the agreement with the town council to provide this service.
Thanks to this initiative, the residents of Yecla can manage their payments during the opening hours of the office, that is, Monday to Friday from 08.30 to 18.30.
They can also use for this management any of the other 65 offices that Correos makes available in the Region of Murcia or those of the rest of Spain. This agreement establishes collaboration mechanisms to increase and improve the quality of the services provided for the benefit of citizens.
With the offer of new products and services, Correos continues to work to promote and develop the activity of its branch network. The bill payment service is aimed at companies and public bodies and allows easy collection management, through the Post Office.
Using the money order infrastructure, citizens can make their payments to companies and public bodies that are part of the service, at any computerized Post Office. In this way, Correos becomes an alternative payment channel for citizens, offering more than 2,100 service points, with the widest opening hours in the market. In the case of payments for public bodies, a barcode can be included on the receipt with all the information about the payment to be made.
In this way, the transaction will be loaded into the system automatically and the general efficiency of the procedure will be improved, both for the user and for the client when receiving payment information. The organization or company will receive the payments made within 72 hours, together with the information necessary to carry out the accounting of them.
