T11 Sub18, with a time of 8.50 that fulminated the previous record, established in 8.78 |
Last weekend we would not only attend new regional record brands, but also participate in another historic performance for Blas Villaplana.
The athlete of the ADA Yeclano Interfiber won once more to seal his name in the table of records of Spain of the FEDC, after beating the record Sub18 of 60m.l.
That would be the case last Saturday, within the framework of that race control held at the âAntonio Peñalver Asensioâ athletics track of the Guadalentín Sports Complex, in Alhama de Murcia, where Villaplana stopped the clock at 8.50, completing that record set so far in 8.78 and shared between Luis Muñiz, on February 6, 1999, and Sergio Alamar, on February 10, 2017.
Blas, who was awarded at the VII Murcian Athletics Gala with the Olympic Spirit Award, would achieve that national record guided by his brother and club mate Cristian Villaplana.
It also has the national record of 60m.l.
