'The CHS has denied us bypassing the requests that all municipal groups, which the Plenary of our city council has transferred to it on different occasions'

Given the lack of response obtained by our city council to the Segura Hydrographic Confederation in reference to the control and replenishment of the aquifers that supply us with water, the mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, together with the regional deputy Jesús Cano, has appeared in Press conference to present a series of initiatives that will be presented to the Regional Assembly.

Marcos Ortuño, who has transferred on different occasions to the CHS the concern of the Yeclanos before the proliferation of farms of intensive crops in our town, has begun saying that 'it is essential to guarantee the quality of our aquifers and the supply of water for consumption human as for the maintenance and sustainability of our traditional agriculture '.
