The mayor of Yecla has requested the implementation of a School of Hospitality in Yecla and various improvements in Yeclan schools |

The Minister of Education and Culture of the Region of Murcia, María Esperanza Moreno, along with the mayor of Yecla;

Marcos Ortuño, have visited different facilities in Yecla today.

The first of these visits has been to the 'Méndez Núñez' school, a center in which the Ministry has recently replaced the entire fiber cement roof.

"The Ministry has developed a work with more than 150,000 euros of cost," said Marcos Ortuño.

In this sense, the Minister of Education and Culture has stressed that 'these works were developed during the month of September, anticipating the entire plan that the Ministry has to eliminate these fiber cement roofs, at the insistent request of the mayor of Yecla'.

During this visit Marcos Ortuño has made various requests to the counselor among which are measures to 'facilitate the future of our youth by improving the educational offer.

In this sense we are going to study different alternatives so that the Autonomous Community can launch a Hospitality School in Yecla '.

This request has been joined by others in the educational field destined to different educational centers in our town, among which it is worth mentioning the tender for the 'Alfonso X' school canteen or an access ramp for the 'Giner de los Ríos' school.

Then the counselor has visited with the mayor of Yecla the chapel of the Virgen de las Angustias, where the counselor has pledged to help as much as possible from the counseling to complete the restoration of this chapel.

In this sense Marcos Ortuño wanted to highlight that 'the regional government of Fernando López Miras gives us what the government of Pedro Sánchez denies us', and that is that the Ministry of Education and Culture has allocated 225,000 euros for the start of the works that The restoration of the San Francisco church complex where this baroque jewel is located is the chapel of the Virgen de las Angustias.

Finally, the director of the Department of Education and Culture has developed his meeting in Yecla with the participation of Marcos Ortuño, where various topics have been discussed, including some of the demands that the mayor and Yeclano has raised.
