On the highway A-33 (Blanca-Fuente la Higuera) |
He allegedly drove from Murcia to Yecla with manifestly reckless maneuvers, coming to collide with the bionda on both sides.
The action has been carried out thanks to citizen collaboration
The driver doubled the maximum breathalyzer rate, so he is credited with the alleged authorship of two crimes against road safety
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has located and investigated a neighbor of Murcia, for conducting tourism on the A-33 highway manifestly recklessly and under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
The investigator has been instructed as alleged perpetrator of two crimes against road safety for reckless driving and under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
The actions began when the civil guards of the Traffic Operation Center (COTA) of the Traffic Sector of Murcia were alerted to the irregular driving of a tourism for about 40 kilometers by the A-33 highway, which connects Las Blanca with the Valencian municipality from Fuente la Higuera, so immediately a patrol of the Cieza Traffic Detachment was mobilized to intercept the suspect vehicle as soon as possible.
Civil guards of the Traffic Association located the vehicle in Yecla and identified its driver a 28-year-old male and neighbor of Murcia, who had obvious symptoms of alcoholic beverages intake, showing positive in the regulatory tests practiced.
The alleged reckless driving was videotaped by the user of another vehicle.
In the facts seen in the images it was observed that the tourism conducted by the now investigated was circulating in a clearly irregular way, constantly invading the two lanes of the highway with obvious risk for the rest of users, even colliding with the bionda metal that delimits the road on both sides.
As a result of the investigation, it has been possible to verify that the investigated driver circulated in a manifestly reckless manner, omitting the most elementary diligence and with absolute disregard of the basic traffic rules, acting deliberately and consciously with this driving from Murcia to Yecla, a driving which put the life or integrity of other road users in concrete danger.
Therefore, in addition to the obvious symptoms of alcohol intoxication, the driver has been instructed as alleged perpetrator of two crimes against road safety, which has been cited for the corresponding rapid trial in the Court of Instruction of Yecla.
The crime of reckless driving is included in the Criminal Code and can be punishable by imprisonment from 6 months to 2 years and deprivation of the right to drive motor vehicles and mopeds for more than 1 and up to 6 years.
On the other hand, the offense of driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, is found in article 379 of the Criminal Code and can be punished alternatively with prison sentences of 3 to 6 months, a fine of 6 to 12 months, or work in benefit of the community from 31 to 90 days and in any case with deprivation of the right to drive motor vehicles and mopeds for more than 1 and up to 4 years.
In the event of intake of substances incompatible with driving, the affected vehicles are immobilized by the Civil Guard until their drivers are in a position to continue traveling, once they have lowered the level of breathalyzer within the allowed limits or disappeared the Presence of drugs, or other drivers who are qualified and prior appropriate tests, as in this case, take over the vehicles.
The Civil Guard wants to appeal to citizen collaboration, as has happened in this case, in view of the high danger posed by the irregular movement of vehicles, so that as soon as they detect one of these situations, they urgently notify the 112 telephone numbers (emergencies) or 062 (Civil Guard), thus allowing the offender to be intercepted before an accident or other undesirable harmful result occurs.
