The Yecla Tennis Club will host the Absolute Individual Regional Tennis Championship in its male and female modalities.
The previous ones will begin on Saturday, November 23;
The championship will take place throughout the week until the finals, which will be held on Sunday, December 1.
At the moment 25 athletes have registered in the male modality and 16 in the female one.
Participants will be Yeclanos tennis players Ángel Alonso, Samuel Soriano, Esther Martínez and Cristina Martínez, as well as the winners and finalists of the last edition of the Absolute Regional Championship, both male and female, or the Spanish Tennis Champion in the children's category.
The program also includes the 16 finals of the Iniciatenis tournament, in children's and youth base modalities.
The Councilor for Sports, Pedro Romero, thanked the Tennis Federation of the Region of Murcia for the opportunity for Yecla to host the Absolute Regional Championship for the second time and congratulated the Yecla Tennis Club for their great work.
Romero has invited all sports fans to attend for free at the end of December 1, which will be the new best players in the Region.
The president of the Tennis Federation of the Region of Murcia, José Alcolea, has admitted that it is "a joy that the Absolute Individual Regional Championship returns to Yecla".
"We will have a full week of great games, so we expect huge success," said Alcolea.
The representative of Yecla Tennis Club, Andrés Escoda, has revealed that it will also be played in doubles mode if sufficient entries are achieved, and he thanked the collaboration of the Department of Sports, the trust of the Federation and the support of the sponsors.
