VOCES AMIGAS DE ESPERANZA (VOADES) is a Social Action and Development Cooperation NGO to promote the emotional health of people and human groups:
Promote the emotional health and quality of life of people, families and other groups.
Promote healthy communication as a privileged means of personal growth and emotional health.
Promote the social inclusion of people and groups at risk of exclusion.
Promote volunteering as a privileged means of personal development and participation in the common good.
Foster solidarity and international cooperation in any culture without any discrimination.
Among the numerous programs that VOADES carries out, it is worth mentioning the "LISTENING TO THE SOLITUDE" Program, a pilot listening and accompaniment experience for people who feel lonely.
This Program aims to alleviate the suffering of people suffering from loneliness due to different reasons: advanced age, illness, poverty, family abandonment, lack of social support networks, discrimination, etc.
Volunteers who collaborate in this Program receive specific training to offer quality listening, respecting the confidentiality of the people served and their personal problems.
The support of the beneficiaries of the Program is carried out through different means:

Where the user lives: address, residence, hospital, etc.
In a space provided by the City Council, for individual or small group attention.
