On Sunday June 2 the municipal auditorium 'Juan Miguel Benedito' will host the 1st National Trophy 'City of Yecla' of bodybuilding, an event organized by the Murcia Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (F.MU.FF) in collaboration with the Department of Sports .
The doors will open at 10:30 am and the competition will begin at 11:00 hours.
The trophy consists of different modalities according to muscle mass and age, and will serve as preselection of the regional federation for the Spanish Bodybuilding Cup.
At this moment there are 50 registered athletes, including athletes from our city.
The organization hopes to add participants, since the registration period is still open.
The Councilor for Sports, Pedro Romero, has encouraged the public to come as a public and enjoy the event.
For its part, the organizer of the event, Raquel Palao, thanked the City Council for its collaboration.
The president of the Competition Committee of the F.MU.FF has indicated that they are working to bring bodybuilding to the whole Region and that competitions like this one help the local economy and the promotion of our city: "dozens of people will come to Yecla, they will stay, eat and consume here this weekend. "
