The Association of Friends of Music Yecla has been honored with the award "Pro Musician of the Year 2009."
These distinctions are convened by the Association for the music of Murcia, Murcia Regional Public Enterprise Cultural Auditorium and Congress Center "Victor Villegas" and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Murcia and was instituted to honor those composers annually, individual performers , instrumental groups and schools that had significant activity towards the dissemination of music.
The ruling was released Thursday by the Director General for Cultural Promotion, Antonio Martinez, accompanied by the President of the Association for Music of Murcia, Juan Octavio.
With the Association of Friends of Music Yecla, have also been awarded the Jumillano composer Roque Baños, the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, violinist Joaquin Riquelme and Secondary School "Aljada" of Murcia.
