Start the mandatory rabies vaccination for dogs, cats and ferrets (01/07/2014)

The Department of Health through the Municipal Veterinary Service has started recalls the period of intensified antirrabuica compulsory vaccination campaign in dogs, cats and ferrets will be developed from July 1 to August 31, 2014

Vaccination is compulsory in dogs and ferrets from three and a half months in cats from five months.

In the act of vaccination, the owners of these pets be vaccinated for the first time, they were given a Official Health Primer, completed by the veterinarian who carried out the vaccination.

Owners of dogs vaccinated in previous campaigns must submit Primer for Health Be Completed by the veterinarian with the official seal of the anti-rabies campaign 2014.

Prices last year remain: 20 euros for each animal vaccinated company (vaccination at home 24 euros)

The Ordinance also recalls the obligation of identification by microchip dogs within a maximum period of three months from the date of birth or one month from the acquisition of the animal.
