Moored gas station after brutally beating an establishment employee (02/12/2013)

At the time of the arrest were carrying with them the clothes used in the robbery and some of the stolen items.

Agents of the National Police have arrested two men of Spanish nationality, and 39 and 35 years, respectively, on suspicion of robbery at a service station located on the Carretera de Villena, about six kilometers from the city Yecla.

The robbery took place at 0700 hours on Wednesday 27 November, when two masked men carrying a knife and a hammer addressed to an employee of the service station as he prepared to open the same.

After intimidate and beat him brutally, causing severe injuries that have resulted hospitalization, appropriated 500 euros cash box and several effects property exposed for sale.

Given the gravity of the offense and alarm produced, and although the event had taken place outside the remit of the National Police, agents of the police station in Yecla set a device aimed at the location and arrest of those suspected of facts, taking into account that they might still be in the area.

This operation allowed at dawn yesterday, November 29, investigated were located when traveling in a vehicle near the town of Yecla.

At the time of the arrest carried with it a number of effects stolen in the robbery and clothing used in it.

The detainees, who are charged with the crimes of robbery and injury, have been brought to justice in the morning.
