The Ministry of Health and Social Policy, through the Directorate General of Persons with Disabilities of Murcia Institute of Social Action (IMAS), devotes 94,564 per year to subsidize 10 people with Mental Illness dependents Chronicle that there are 19 seats available in the Day Centre of the Association of Family and Persons with Mental Illness (Afemy).

Afemy Center is a boost to health and social services in the municipalities of Yecla and Jumilla to provide day care for dependent persons with Mental Illness.

Afemy Center, which has an area of ​​over 146 square meters, provides care and social rehabilitation, assistance and personal development, occupational therapy, physical rehabilitation and multisensory stimulation, among others.

Afemy Center, where her work play a social worker, a psychologist, an occupational therapist and a nurse, among other professionals, conducts three programs: one for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, other Leisure and Recreation and the third Occupational character.

In the Autonomous Community, the IMAS assists through its network of day centers and residences for a total of 685 people with Mental Illness to improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries of these services and their families.
