"We will jointly promote our municipalities are declared Reindustrialisation Urgent Zone" (27/10/2013)

The First Convention of the Socialist Intercomarcal held this weekend discussed the re-industrialization and employment needs in the towns of Yecla, Almansa, Villena, Pinoso, Jumilla and political betting Caudete reactivate and reconfigure the productive.

Yeclanos Socialists gathered Saturday morning for mayors and councilors Caudete PSOE, Pinoso, Villena, Almansa and Jumilla, to analyze issues and problems affecting all these municipalities, three different regions like Castilla-La Mancha , Valencia and Murcia, which is a potential influence with about 150,000 inhabitants.

The aim of this meeting was to analyze and promote inter-county proposals to boost the economy and employment in this area, hard hit by unemployment, in addition to claiming the improvement of road infrastructure, agricultural policies and social policies against cuts PP.

The need to demand and implement a Reindustrialisation in the municipalities represented at the convention organized by the PSOE intercomarcal Yecla was the common denominator of delegations convened at tackling the problem of unemployment and loss of productive in these localities neighbors.

To do this, the Socialists pose a whole re-industrialization plan to revive the economy, aimed at reducing the high rate of unemployment recorded in these municipalities.

The secretary general of the Socialist yeclanos, Juan Chinchilla, announced that "this plan will reindustrialización asked the Ministry of Industry and all these municipalities are declared Reindustrialisation Urgent Zone".

Likewise, all the representatives of the PSOE in these localities agreed on the need to complete the A-33 in order to improve communications and make this county highway "connecting the Spanish Levante and Andalusia" and the urgent need to improve connections county with the recently opened Villena railway station.

For his part, the secretary general of PSRM-PSOE, Rafael González Tovar, advocated the necessary completion of the A-33 in all sections, announcing that the PSOE has submitted to Congress an amendment to expand the paltry government budget as well as the goal of getting a new motorway axis vertebre Jumilla-Caravaca-Lorca.

The problem of water in this area, with its overexploited aquifers and their impact on agriculture were another issue to discuss and analyze in the meeting.

In this regard, the socialists have called for increased attention to agriculture and influence policies that benefit green job fields.

Pinoso Mayor Lazaro Azorin, advocated the coordination of all these municipalities in their claims because "we border territories, which means that we have common problems we face, and offer alternatives, to respond to citizens' .

The provincial secretary of the PSOE in Alicante, David Cerda, placed special emphasis on defense, with the various PP government infrastructure that enhances the area industry and agriculture.

He argued that "we periphery, but we have to convert to center, and for that we must be united, so that they do hear our demands."

Furthermore, it urged coordination between the different municipalities to offset cuts PP regional governments in Castilla la Mancha, Valencia and Murcia, as well as joint action against privatization of public services and facilities such as Hospital Almansa.

Likewise, different pooled municipal initiatives impact on the area and studied actions before issues such as the threat of pollution and seismic risk of fracking activity.

The objective of this convention to discuss common problems these municipalities has been largely achieved by the organizers and is expected to continue such meetings having continuity.
