The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the local police, Yecla has developed an investigation that has resulted in the dismantling of a marijuana production point catering to regular users of Yecla.
The agents have arrested the person who ran the plantation and have seized 21 marijuana plants and all the tools used to develop the cultivation of this substance.
The actions are framed within the Meritorious services developed in the region for the prevention and prosecution of drug trafficking by detecting their points of production, distribution and sale.
The research, carried out in coordination by Civil Guard officers and local police in Yecla, began to hear from a farm located in the hamlet of Raspay yeclana where allegedly unlawful activity was taking the marijuana cultivation.
Having noted the illegal activity on the premises, the officers conducted the seizure of a total of 21 marijuana plants and proceeded to the arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the person who ran the plantation, on suspicion of crime of drug trafficking.
Besides all purposes seized used for growing marijuana.
Arrested
The agents have arrested on suspicion of crimes against public health, drug trafficking, to a person identified as:
- 53 years and resident in Yecla.
Effects seized
It has dismantled a clandestine plantation of marijuana, 21 plants in various stages of production, and have seized tools used for the cultivation of this substance.
The arrested, drugs seized, the effects seized and proceedings have been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 1 Yecla (Murcia)
