Yecla celebrates the tenth edition of its Jazz Festival, from 26 to 30 September, which will feature the stellar performance of Raimundo Amador.
Holding a Jazz course and live broadcast of the program for Spain "Discopolis" RNE Radio 3 are some of the most important news of the festival that year after year makes its way through the most important national calendar and that leaves its tenth anniversary dates of the usual September fair, not overlapping municipal activities.
The performances will be held in the Theatre "Secure Shell" at 21.30 hours, except Sunday 30 September, in which the Municipal Auditorium 12.30 host the final concert by the band Double yeclana Jazz Band.
Access to all is free, first-served basis.
Celebrations Councilman Juan Miguel Macho presented the program of performances, this festival organized by the departments of culture celebrations and Yecla Town Hall, which has a budget of 22,409 euros, slightly less than in the previous edition.
The Yecla Jazz Festival will start on Wednesday September 26 concert of Javier Elorrieta Quintet.
This versatile artist, film director, screenwriter, actor and musician present their second album "Boheme-lost love."
On Thursday, 27 is the turn for the quartet led by pianist Manuel Camp, composer and pedagogue, professor of jazz and modern music of the School of Music of Catalonia.
Presented "Tangram", their third album.
On Friday 28 Raimundo Amador presented by Radio 3, from Yecla, his new album, before offering a concert night that promises a full house at the Concha Segura.
His love of the blues has made music a mixture Raimundo Amador never gives up its Flemish origin.
He has been fortunate to grow musically with the likes of geniuses Camaron, Paco de Lucia, Montoya family or BB King himself.
Closes on Saturday 29 concerts in the theater with Tropple Quartet concert.
With the Jazz as a backdrop this quartet has developed a repertoire based on classic and modern standard rhythms.
This year the Festival is complete with a Jazz course taught at the School of Music of the Friends of Music by saxophonist Patxi Valverde.
The cycle ends with the concert band Double yeclana Jazz Band at the Auditorium, formed in 2012, seeking the sound characteristics of a big band, given the musical training of its components, and the wide range of styles and musical groups that we can find in Yecla.
