The Socialist councilor Salvador Santa has denounced at a press conference the situation of bioclimatic building being constructed under the project "Yecla Rate" on the southern slopes of Cerro del Castillo, whose upper building had to be shored up before the more hudimiento evident slab.
Santa has made a series of questions: "What do we owe this problem?, Did a project failure, poor performance of the contractor, carelessness in construction management, is it that the council and the mayor did not supervise the work? ".
Likewise, the socialist mayor has demanded the government team to explain what you are going to give solution to the problem and who will bear the additional expenses involving repairs to the building structure.
The multipurpose building of "Yecla values" has a budget of 1,807,756 euros, of which 70% it is financed by the ERDF and the remaining 30% contribution to the City Council.
Santa has announced that "we ask the certifications of the work and we will monitor to ensure compliance with the project, but meanwhile someone will have to explain what is happening with this building that is giving problems even before they've finished. Again we an example of mismanagement and neglect on the part of the government team. "
