The Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño and Councillor of the Presidency, Manuel Campo today dedicated the last stretch of the northern bypass roads connecting Caudete and Villena.
The works have had an operating budget of one million eight hundred thousand euros, and are subsidized by the Ministry of Presidency and Public Administration of the Autonomous Region in 575,000 euros in the Basic Municipal Infrastructure Plan.
The opening of this road, 700 meters long, close the belt around Yecla in the north, from the road to Fuente Alamo, to the exit for Villena.
Its implementation has helped to reduce traffic congestion in the city, particularly in the Avenida de la Feria, where 10,000 vehicles a day traveled, and facilitates access to such important points as the Hospital, the industrial estates of the road Villena, Furniture Fair, a health center and a school.
The work has involved the construction of two lanes of 3.50 m in each direction, separated by a median of 1.00 m, which would place the streetlights and sidewalks of 2.50 m.
He has set up comprehensive network of safe water, sanitation and telecommunications infrastructure
The project includes installation of lighting lamps by two arms of 150 W and 10 meters high,
