Compose a corporal and eleven civilian guards reinforce the action of the Civil Guard in this area

The government delegate in Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, along with Colonel Chief of the 5th Area Civil Guard, Jose Ortega, and the mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, presented this morning at the headquarters of the town the new unit Public Safety (USECICO) of the 2nd Company of the Body.
The Unit is composed of a corporal and eleven civil guards who act in the territorial jurisdiction of the 2nd company of the Civil Guard, that is, the municipalities of Cieza, Abarán, Blanca, Murcia, Fortuna, Abanilla, Jumilla and Yecla.
The role of USECICO reserve will be to support other jobs dependent on the 2nd Company, and the preventive monitoring of those areas that require them to suffer higher rates of crime.
Also pay special attention to agriculture and cattle to prevent theft and other criminal acts.
Moreover, among the specific functions of the Public Safety Unit, highlight the control of the areas affected by the drug traffic or retail, the surveillance of specific areas of the largest foreign population to avoid acts or xenophobic or racist migration control, among many others.
This USECICO comes complete with various technical and material resources that facilitate the work of agents and safeguard its integrity, as four ATVs, fenders, helmets, shields, body armor, portable drives and control equipment and barreamiento.
