The City of Yecla not need to benefit from the plan payments to providers (22/03/2012)

The City of Yecla not going to benefit from the Pay Plan of outstanding debts to suppliers projected from the Government of Spain "because the economic situation this is solvent and sound and be able to meet outstanding payments" as stated by the Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño.

The first municipal authority has stated that "following the instructions of the Ministry of Finance, the City Council declare a debt with suppliers to December 31, 2011 of 755,000 euros. But we have bills stored in the drawers. The economic situation of the Corporation City will allow us to pay these overdue bills without major problems, so we prefer not to welcome us to this Pay Plan that would get a loan to ten years with all that that implies for the payment of interest and costs. "

Ortuño Mark understands that the decision of the Government of Spain led by Mariano Rajoy will be a strong support to municipalities and small and medium enterprises, although in the case of Yecla, it will not be necessary to use it, "because in the Recent years have followed a policy of cost control and thus will continue to work in this year 2012. This will allow to maintain essential services for the city and undertake major investments "
