El Monte Arabi at the Seminar on Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin (01/03/2012)

The Director of the Municipal Archaeological Museum presents a lecture on the study and appreciation of the cave paintings of Songs of the visor, in the Rock Art Seminar to be held tomorrow, Friday March 2 at the Foundation House Painted Mule

The Director of the Municipal Archaeological Museum, Liborio Molina Ruiz, will speak tomorrow, Friday March 2 at the Seminar on Rock Art Painted House Foundation of Mula.

A presentation on the study and appreciation of Songs of the brim, on Mount Arabi, with Mauro Hernandez, Professor of Prehistory at the University of Alicante and Rafael Martinez, the Valencian Institute of Conservation and Restoration.

The Seminar will focus their presentations on Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1998.

It seeks to highlight the process of creating these paintings unrepeatable and awareness of the importance of conservation.

The seminar is completed with the exhibition "In the footsteps of man" in tribute to Dr. Peter A.

Lillo, Ph.D. in Archaeology from the University of Murcia and teacher of a generation of archaeologists from the Region of Murcia.

The exhibition will remain in the Exhibition Hall of the Painted House Foundation of Mula until March 31

It is organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Mula and the Painted House Foundation
