ANIEME presents the sectoral plan for the international promotion of Spanish furniture 2011 (12/11/2010)

The National Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters of Spain (ANIEME) has submitted the Furniture Sector Plan for next year 2011, plan to support the Spanish companies in their internationalization and to project the brand image of "cabinet of Spain "in foreign markets.

To carry out this Plan Furniture Trade Promotion, ANIEME has the support and collaboration of ICEX (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) and IVEX (Valencian Export Institute).

Furniture Sector Plan coordinated by ANIEME 2011, with the support of ICEX and IVEX, aims to give Spanish companies new business opportunities and new avenues of access to international markets.

For this ANIEME work on finding new distribution channels for the furniture, as well as to strengthen and intensify those already working.

In this sense, it seeks the empowerment of the canal contract through specific direct actions as the figure of the promoter of the furniture sector in India.

Another action will be provided at point of sale promotion in Pyatigorsk (Russia), which aims to strengthen the presence of Spanish furniture in the Russian market.

The opening of new markets is one of the main objectives in the Plan.

Thus, the Association intends to conduct market research in Eastern Europe, Africa and other regions of Russia.

In turn, emerging markets are also going to be one of the objectives to be addressed by ANIEME in 2011, organizing trade missions direct to Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, Algeria, Colombia, Panama, Angola, Tunisia, Libya, Saudi Arabia Qatar, UAE, Lebanon and Cyprus.

Other promotional activities to be carried out are the group participation of Spanish companies in the furniture in the most prestigious international fairs, such as Maison & Objet, Meuble Paris, International Furniture Fair in Milan, INDEX Dubai and the International Fair Shanghai furniture.

ANIEME also plans to expand its database of retailers, dealers and specifiers of the European Union countries, thus contributing to strengthening the presence of Spanish furniture market "mature" in which already have strong presence, but still no chance of winning market share.

With regard to trade missions, missions carried out ANIEME reverse prescribers to industry, from different markets such as Shanghai, United Arab Emirates, India, Germany and the UK.

On the occasion of the next edition of the show HABITAT VALENCIA, to be held from 20 to 24 September 2011, ANIEME be responsible for organizing trade missions to international buyers and journalists to visit the fair.
