Digital justice works already in Yecla (09/11/2017)

The system that allows the electronic processing of judicial procedures has entered into operation in the courts of Yecla.

From now on, the signing and consultation of documents in two courts of 1st instance and instruction of this Murcian city will be carried out entirely in digital format, which will help to expedite the processing and provide greater guarantees to all legal acts.

Since the use of electronic means in the relations between courts and legal operators was made mandatory in January 2016, more than 66,000 communications have been made in Yecla between notifications and writings initiating lawsuits and proceedings.

The implementation of digital justice in Murcia has required organizational, technological and change management actions to train staff in the handling of new applications.

The follow-up of the works is carried out through a Technical Implementation Group constituted by the heads of the judicial office and the Ministry of Justice, which is in charge of technical support.

Next November 20, digital justice will also be operational in Caravaca de la Cruz and it is expected that in March 2018 the implementation of the system in the region will be completed.
