youth choirs of the parishes of the Diocese of Cartagena will meet, on 1 October in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception of Yecla to celebrate the XXIII Meeting Diocesan Youth Choir.
"Blessed are you who believed that what he told you the Lord would be fulfilled" is the theme of the meeting, which includes the greeting of St. Elizabeth to the Virgin Mary when she went to visit her.
The aim of this day together is to encourage different groups to work with enthusiasm, to work, and remain constant in the characteristics of each choir and each parish activities.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 pm with the reception in the park of the Constitution, better known as park pigeons, where breakfast, registration and delivery of shirts to different groups will take place.
An hour later there will be an opening prayer of the day in the Basilica.
At 13:00 pm Mass and then place the food (each participant take yours).
At 15:30 hours the contest of choirs, for which each choir must choose their repertoire of songs, a song in honor of the Virgin, preferably containing the theme of the meeting will be held.
About 17:00 the closing of the meeting is scheduled, that is when the choir will host the meeting in 2017 will unveil.

Likewise, the organization asks for a donation of 1 euro per participant, to deliver on the host.
The youth choirs are intended to accompany their parishes in the celebration of the Eucharist and other celebrations, with songs of different types, which can help the faithful to pray and deepen the meaning of the celebration.
