The Department of Health through the Municipal Veterinary Service recalls that period started the intensification of the campaign, mandatory rabies vaccination in dogs, cats and ferrets.

It will run from July 1 to August 31, 2016.

Vaccination is mandatory in dogs and ferrets from three and a half months and cats from five months.

In the act of vaccination, the owners of these pets get vaccinated for the first time, you will be given an official health card, which will be completed by the veterinary surgeon.

The owners of the dogs vaccinated in previous campaigns should present the health card to be filled out by the veterinarian with the official seal of the anti-rabies campaign 2016.

prices remain: EUR 20 per pet vaccinated in clinic (vaccination at home 24 euros).

It is recalled from the Veterinary Service mandatory microchip identification by dogs within a maximum period of three months from the date of birth or one month from the acquisition of the animal.
