Several regional champions have confirmed their attendance |
On Sunday, July 14 from 9:00 am the VII edition of the BTT Yecla Valora Cycling Trophy will be held, which is included in the Championship of the Region of Murcia.
The exit and the goal will be located in Abad José Sola street and the circuit will run through the surroundings of Cerro del Castillo and Yecla Valora.
In the XCO category of adults, five kilometers will be covered, while in Kids Series -children- the route will be 800 meters or one kilometer depending on the modality.
At the moment, around 80 children and 40 adults have enrolled, although the number of participants will be much higher, as applications can be submitted until the day of the competition.
The promoter of the event, Gabriel Lopez, has clarified that only federated cyclists can compete and that it is a trophy of medium-high difficulty.
Lopez explained that "we have compacted the circuit for greater enjoyment of the spectators" and that several regional champions have confirmed their participation, as well as the junior champion of Madrid, Mercedes Romero.
The Councilor for Sports, Pedro Romero, thanked the involvement of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia and said it is "a circuit that appeals, very attractive to viewers," which has invited the public to attend and enjoy the competition.
