Clara Ballester and Gonzalo Rodríguez in the XVII Cycle "Concert Hall" (04/02/2019)

The Association of Friends of Music of Yecla informs about the fourth concert scheduled in the XVII Cycle "Concert Hall" organized by the School of Music of the Association of Friends of Music of Yecla and the Department of Culture of the City Council of our city.

It will be next Saturday, February 9, at 7:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the School of Music of our city.

This XVII edition has the sponsorship of Duo-Graph, Castaño Family, Arty-Graph, Iberpiano, Juan Palao Peña, Peloton Bus, Daemon 4, YeclaGrafic, Davó and Visual Rotulación.Y as in previous editions, it also has the collaboration of the local media: Onda Regional de Murcia, elperiodicodeyecla.com, Teleyecla, Onda Cero Yecla, Cope Yecla and Siete Días Yecla.

The protagonists of this guitar concert will be Clara Ballester Beneito and Gonzalo Rodríguez López de Andújar, winners of the VI National Contest of Classical Guitar "Ciudad de Castalla".

It will be at 19:30 in the Auditorium of the School of Music of our city, with free admission until the capacity of the same.

Clara Ballester Beneito

Clara Ballester Beneito was born on June 4, 2005. She started in the world of music with only 4 years in the Orfeó Valencià Infantil (OVI).

At four years old his father began to teach him to play the guitar in a playful way, integrating the practice of the instrument as one of the funniest games for children.

When he was eight years old, he entered the José Iturbi Conservatory in Valencia where he began his official guitar studies with Professor José Luis Ruíz del Puerto, with whom he continued studying for the second year of the Professional Degree.

He has received classes of guitarists of recognized international prestige such as: Ricardo Gallén, Edoardo Catemario, Carlos Bonell, Jonathan Esteve, Juan Almada, Andrea Roberto, Eduardo Inestal, Anders Clemens, Fernando Espí, Luis Regidor, Andrea González Caballero, Thu Le, Juan Carlos López Segura and Francisco Albert Ricote.

Since 2017, he has been receiving periodic classes by virtuoso guitarist and composer Ali Arango.

It has been awarded in the following international competitions:

In November 2014 he won the First Prize in the Guitar Competition for Young Performers Alhambra in Valencia.

In May 2016 he won the First Prize in the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga de Bilbao Guitar Competition for young performers

In July 2016 he won the First Prize in the Salvador García de Gandía Guitar Competition for young performers.

In November 2016 he won the First Prize in the Alhambra Guitar Competition for Young Performers in Valencia.

In March 2017 he won the First Prize in the Guitar Competition of La Rioja.

In May 2017, he won the Second Prize in the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga International Guitar Competition in Bilbao.

In July of 2017 he won the Second Prize in the Guitar Contest Salvador García de Gandía.

In July 2017, she is a Finalist in the Young Promise Competition of Petrer, Alicante.

In November 2017 he won First Prize in the Norba Caesarina International Guitar Competition of Cáceres.

In May 2018 he won the Second Prize in the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga International Guitar Competition in Bilbao.

In June 2018 he won the First Prize in the Contest of the 50th anniversary of Raimundo Guitars.

In July 2018 he won the First Prize and the Audience Award at the Guitar Competition Ciudad de Castalla, Alicante.

In September 2018 he won the First Prize in the Náquera Contest, held within the framework of the Náquera sona music festival in Valencia.

He has performed in different concert halls such as the Palau de la Música in Valencia, the Auditorium of the San Pío Museum, the Glass Hall of the City Hall of Valencia, the Concert Hall of the Charity of Valencia, the Auditorium of the Torrent Conservatory, the Auditorium of the Bilbao Conservatory, Ibercaja Cultural Center of Logroño, Cervantes de Petrer Theater, Cultural Center of the Caja de Almendralejo de Cáceres, Cultural Area of ​​the English Court, Joaquin Rodrigo de Quartell Auditorium (Valencia), Castalla Auditorium, Hall of the City Hall of Náquera, Valencia.

He has collaborated in poetry recitals accompanying the rhapsodies with his guitar.

Clara currently studies second of ESO at the Benlliure Institute in Valencia.

Gonzalo Rodríguez López de Andújar.

He was born in Valencia on November 18, 1999.

He began his musical studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music "José Iturbi" of Valencia between 2008 and 2018. Under the tutelage of his teacher Enrique Perona, he obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Professional and Middle Grade, achieving the Honor Award of Guitar of teaching professional.

As of 2018, he continues his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music "Salvador Segui" of Castellón.

He has taken courses and master classes with different professors of recognized international prestige, such as Âlex Garrobé, Judicael Perroy and Marcyn Dylla.

He has participated in diverse Contests, festivals and Contests, among others:

- VIII Guitar Contest 'Juan Chrysostom of Arriaga' (2018).

- International Guitar Festival 2017 ¨José Tomas Villa de Petrer ¨.

- 38 Edition Córdoba Guitar Festival (2018).

Among the awards he has obtained include:

- Segundo Pemio Guitar Contest city of Villena year 2015.

- First Prize VI International Classical Guitar Festival ¨Ciudad De Castalla¨ (2018).
