The Mayor of Yecla decreed two days of official mourning for the death of Councillor for Sports and Public Services, Juan Palao Azorín (08/06/2010)

Yecla Mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito has declared two days of official mourning for the death of Councillor for Sports and Public Services of the City of Yecla, Juan Palao Azorin.

Thus, the first municipal authority, acts as spokesman for the general feeling of regret of the members of the Municipal Corporation.

On Tuesday June 8 and Wednesday 9 June, the flags flown at half mast on municipal buildings and suspended all events organized by the city of Yecla.

The chapel has been installed in the Assembly Room of the City of Yecla which opens to the public at 10 am on Tuesday, June 8.

The funeral will be held in the parish of the Infant Jesus at six o'clock.

Beloved person close treatment and the disappearance of Juan Palao Azorín has caused deep distress throughout the Municipal Corporation, and all City staff who knew him and worked with him in his term as councilman from several areas.

Married with two children and four grandchildren, Juan Palao arrived in municipal politics in 2003.

In the 7 years has developed councilman councilman functions of Public Service and Sports City of Yecla.

Passionate about sports, especially athletics, Juan Palao has been one of the founders and alma mater Yeclano Athletics Club.

I'm also part of the organization's first National Cross "Fiestas de la Virgen."
